Introductions

Postby DCChair09_Paul » Mon Nov 02, 2009 3:59 pm

Hello Delegates,
I'm Paul von Salisch and I'll be the Chair of the Disarmament Committee along with Can Soylu. Currently, I am a senior at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin-Zehlendorf. I am looking forward to November 18, and hope to get to know you even before, by reading your posts in this forum.

Please do use this topic to introduce details about yourselves like your name, country of origin, age, the country you'll be representing and any other fun fact you'd like to share. The Forum is a great possibility to become familiar with the people you will be working with at Bermun, also, you can already prepare lobbying.

See you soon,
Paul

Dear Delegates of the DC,

My name is Can Soylu and I am honored to serve as the Chair of the Disarmament Comittee along with Paul. I am 17 years old and I am from Robert College of Istanbul, Turkey. This is my 5th year in MUN and BERMUN 2009 will be my fourth and, sadly, last BERMUN. I hope that we have nice time while discussing crucial issues.

Looking forward to meeting you in November,
Can
(P.S. My name is pronounced like "John")

Hello everyone,
My name is Serenay Demir and I will be representing the World Bank in the Disarmament Committee in this year's BERMUN. I come from TED Ankara College, Ankara, Turkey and I have attended to many MUN conferences but this is my last year. This is going to be my first BERMUN which really excites me since we only have less than a week left! :)
I can't wait for the conference to begin and meet with new people, and also discuss these significant issues so I will be here if you'd like to talk or ask anything about my policy or the issue or anything you want :)
Actually, visiting Berlin will be a totally different experience for me, since I am the only one who can't speak even a word in German from our delegation :D but anyway, I am lookin forward to attending BERMUN 2009, I am sure it's going to be great..
Hope to meet you soon,
Serenay.

Hey delegates,

my name is Anna and I'm from Friedrichsgymnasium Kassel, Germany. This year I am representing Ukraine and I'm very excited because it is the last time I'll be there with you guys!
I'm 18 years old, enjoy horse riding, singing, music and nearly all kinds of sports. Furthermore, I'm getting very involved with politics and school issues and love intelligent, serious and friendly discussions. :)
I'm looking forward to Bermun so badly just to get my head out of this school hell - It is my last year and that's pretty exhausting.
I hope we will have a lot of fun together and serious discussions :)

See you all in 6 days!
Anna
