Hi my name is Rade, and I'll be attending this conference as the ambassador for Syria....
Just had a question that might sound silly to you....Since I live in Cyprus, a country in which during summer, the temperature is 51 degrees, and out of 365 days a year, we have 354 days of full sunshine, so, what's the weather like in germany in november??? thanks in advance :D
cheers everyone

Hi my name is Shadia and I will be attending the conference as the representative of Haiti.
The average temperature in Germany during November is 5 C.
By the way your question is not silly but a very practical one.

As a Berliner, I would definitely advise you to bring a lot of warm clothes along. During BERMUN it's usually extremely cold, and the low temperatures are often accompanied by snow!

If you've never seen snow before you'll have a very nice experience. Snow is so, so beautiful!! But I'm not sure that we'll have some this year. Not in november at any rate. It snows way to little in Berlin anyway. I live there, yet I was born in Russia and there you usually get snow till your knees.

Well actually, I'm also not sure if you will see much snow in Berlin. But in the moment there's some snow in Germany. LAst week I'd been in Bavaria and there is it starting a little little bit ...

But Elisavietta is right - snow is so beautiful ... and the air smells so ................. hmm ...... fresh :) (I can't think of another word in the moment, but I hope you all know what I mean ...) when it snows ...

Postby Antti Lipsanen » Sun Nov 16, 2008 11:44 pm

Hi,
I live in stockholm and today we got our first small snow, which probably lasted on the ground for about 1-2 seconds, so i wouldnt keep your hopes up for any snow. But ofcourse Switzerland had their first snow, which lasted for a couple of weeks.
While im here i could start some lobbying with other members in the environment comitee. My name is Antti Lipsanen and im from Finland, but I go to stockholm international school. Ill be representing the UAE at the envronment comitee and im really looking forward to coming to berlin. Bermun only 3 days, so if anyones intreseted in sharing their ideas for resolutions concerning the environment comitee id be more than happy to discuss.
see you all in Berlin soon:)
